CARA -- DOB: April 2009 -- Cara is sweet, gentle and loves to sit in your lap. And she has the softest fur that just begs to be petted! Even though Cara started her life outside, she made it very clear that she would much rather be inside. She kept running up to people, rubbing against them and asking them to pick her up. Cara was originally brought to Pet Refuge in Spring of 2010 and after spending a year and a half in a home with an older lady, she was returned to us when her adoptive mom had to move in with a relative. Cara is currently in a foster home with other cats. She enjoys the company of other calm animals, but would probably be just as happy as an only cat. She is not the most active cat, but she loves chasing a laser pointer. Caras ideal home would be quiet and she would like nothing more than to be someones lap cat.
